Offend???!!!!. Maaaate!..... if offend means not showing compassion to individuals that in most cases come to this country for help, then .... shit ... I need to check the dictionary.
My definition of offensive is people who (not you) write emails like this that to satisfy some need to group all Australians as insecure, racist, rednecks in order to give some kind of validity to there f*cked up intolerant argument about people who aren't the same as them.

right on! i got a similarly themed text message around the time of the anniversary of the cronulla riots and cursed the fact that there is no 'reply all' on text messaging.

I used to get crap like that at work before I sent an email to all staff alerting them to the fact that I would throw a major wobbly if I ever received anything like it again. It went down surprisingly well, meaning that they stopped being frightened of me about a month later....
Obviously the orignator of that email has never been to the United States like say California, Texas or Florida.
